I'm not a gamer, but I'm a huge fan of several Sony products, including their Acid Music Software. This is also a bad time for Japan and Japanese companies. So it is distressing to hear about all the trouble that's going on with Sony.
Sony's PlayStation Network hack is big news recently. You've probably heard about how a "hacker" (actually a "cracker") got into the website and stole a lot of personal customer data. The US Congress is demanding answers from Sony about why this security breach was even possible and how much damage has been done.
It's currently unclear how many credit card numbers may have been stolen. It is also unclear what the credit card companies are going to do to protect these customers. Will they cancel all these credit cards that have been compromised? Probably not.
